Hot Wheels Premium is the adult-focused sub-segment of the Hot Wheels lineup; it is the middle rung of the main four Hot Wheels lines of vehicles, slotted above the mainline and themed assortments but below the Red Line Club exclusives. Typically, Premium vehicles have metal bodies and bases, rubber wheels and more detailed tampos than their mainline counterparts. Although Premium series have existed for some time, the logo and name for this segment of Hot Wheels was adopted in 2019. The Premium line adopted a gold-colored logo in 2024 although the basic design of the logo remained unchanged; this logo is colloquially known as the “gold label”.
